Sector Ratios Integration into Screener

Sector Ratios integration allows traders to build screener conditions using sector-relative comparisons.

Instead of filtering stocks using only absolute values, traders can compare stocks directly against sector benchmarks.

This helps traders identify:

  • Relatively cheaper stocks
  • Stronger companies within sectors
  • Sector leaders
  • Stocks outperforming peers financially

Sector Ratios are added as a new Screener expression layer.

Users can:

  • Compare stock ratios against sector averages
  • Use standard comparison operators
  • Combine sector-relative filters with existing screener conditions

Users can build expressions through:

Sector → Ratios → Category → Specific Ratio

Categories include:

  • Valuation Ratios
  • Profitability Ratios
  • Growth Ratios
  • Leverage Ratios
  • Efficiency Ratios

Compare a stock directly against sector averages.

Examples:

  • PE < Sector PE
  • ROE > Sector ROE
  • EBITDA Margin > Sector Avg

  • PE < Sector PE
  • ROE > Sector ROE
  • Revenue Growth > Sector Average
  • ROCE > Sector ROCE
  • EBITDA Margin > Sector Average

Sector averages used inside the Screener follow the same calculation logic as the Sectors Dashboard.

This ensures:

  • Platform-wide consistency
  • Comparable analysis
  • Standardized sector benchmarks

Sector-relative screening helps traders:

  • Build smarter filters
  • Add context to valuation
  • Discover sector leaders faster
  • Combine fundamentals with sector positioning
  • Improve stock selection quality

Instead of screening stocks in isolation, traders can filter companies relative to the industries they operate in.
