Events & Announcements on Company Pages
The Events section on the Company Page helps traders track a company’s corporate actions, announcements, and historical event behavior in one place.
Under the Events section, you’ll find two tabs:
- Corporate Actions
- Announcements
Together, these sections help traders follow important company developments over time while also understanding how the stock reacted around similar past events.
Corporate Actions
Section titled “Corporate Actions”The Corporate Actions tab tracks structured company events such as:
- Quarterly Results
- Dividends
- Bonus Issues
- Stock Splits
- Buybacks
- Book Closures
- Rights Issues
- Other corporate actions
Events are displayed in a timeline format, making it easier to follow the company’s event history chronologically.
Each event card includes:
- Event date
- Event title
- Event type
- Expand option
Examples:
- Results for Q4 FY2026
- Dividend of Rs. 10
- Book Closure
Historical Price Behavior
Section titled “Historical Price Behavior”Clicking “Expand” opens a detailed accordion showing how the stock historically behaved around similar events.
This includes:
- Event day return
- 1 day return
- 1 week return
- Average return
- Minimum and maximum return ranges
The goal is to help traders understand:
- Typical volatility around events
- Historical follow-through
- Best and worst-case reactions
- How consistently the stock reacts to similar events
Historical behavior is calculated dynamically using past occurrences of that event type.
Additional Event Information
Section titled “Additional Event Information”Expanded event cards may also include:
- Dividend amounts
- Bonus/split ratios
- Quarter details
- Corporate action specifics
- Event dates
This combines both event context and historical market reaction in one place.
Announcements
Section titled “Announcements”The Announcements tab focuses on company filings, disclosures, press releases, and exchange updates.
Examples include:
- Press releases
- Board meeting outcomes
- Company updates
- Regulatory filings
- Exchange announcements
Announcements are displayed in a timeline-based card layout for easier tracking and navigation.
Each announcement card contains:
- Company name/logo
- Announcement title
- Caption/summary
- Date
- PDF access button
Price Context Around Announcements
Section titled “Price Context Around Announcements”Each announcement also shows short-term stock performance around the filing:
Previous Session - Performance before the announcement. On Announcement Day - Price movement during the announcement session. Next Session - Price movement during the following trading session.
Returns are displayed as percentage change relative to the previous close.
This helps traders quickly understand how markets reacted around important company disclosures.
PDF Access
Section titled “PDF Access”Every announcement card includes direct access to the original filing or exchange document.
Clicking the PDF button opens the filing in a new tab.
This allows traders to verify information directly from the source document.
Search & Filters
Section titled “Search & Filters”The Announcements section includes a search bar to quickly locate filings using:
- Announcement titles
- Captions/summaries
Users can also filter events by event type to focus on specific categories such as:
- Results
- Dividends
- Corporate actions
- Company announcements
Relationship with Events Calendar
Section titled “Relationship with Events Calendar”The Company Page Events section is connected to the broader Events Calendar.
For example:
- Clicking a company event from the Events Calendar can directly open the company’s Events section
- Traders can move from broader market events into company-specific historical analysis seamlessly
This creates a more connected workflow between:
- Event tracking
- Company research
- Historical behavior analysis

Section titled “What This Helps You Do”The Events section helps traders:
- Track important company developments
- Review historical earnings cycles
- Analyze reactions around corporate actions
- Access filings faster

Instead of tracking exchange filings and company events across multiple platforms, traders can view announcements, corporate actions, and historical event behavior together in one structured timeline.
