Stochastic Oscillator (Fast)

This indicator tells you if a stock is overbought or oversold. It checks how close the current price is to its recent highs and lows. While it might seem similar to RSI, the difference is that RSI looks at how fast the price is changing, while Stochastic looks at where the price is sitting within its recent range.

If the value goes below 20, the stock might be oversold and could bounce. If it goes above 80, it might be overbought and could cool off.

Imagine Maruti has dropped for a few days and the stochastic falls below 20. If it then turns upward, some traders might take that as a sign to consider entering for a possible rebound.
