Rate of Change (ROC)
ROC tells you how fast the stock’s price is changing. It compares today’s price with the price a few days ago and shows if the momentum is strong or weak.
If ROC is above zero, the stock is generally moving up. If it falls below zero, the trend might be slowing down. You can use this to check if the stock is gaining or losing strength.
Let’s say Tata Motors was flat for a while, and suddenly ROC moves up above zero. This might mean the price is picking up speed, and a move higher could be starting.
