An index page holds the prevailing level, every stock inside the index, and a chart you can mark up. This guide names each part of the page and says what it does.

Where the index stands today
The only part of the page that moves while the market is open. The prevailing level and the support and resistance chart sit on the left; the highest-impact news and the two range bars sit on the right.
- Name and logo: The index's mark and full name, which is the page's main heading.
- Watchlist and alerts: Save the index to a watchlist, and set an alert so you are notified when your level is hit.
- Prevailing level: The last level in INR, stamped with the time it was captured in IST, beside the change against the previous close in absolute and percentage terms. Green when up, red when down.
- Support and resistance: A price chart with the calculated levels drawn on it, a dropdown for the candle size they come from, and drag-to-pan and scroll-to-zoom.
- Top high impact news: The most consequential recent stories about the index, scored automatically rather than picked by an editor.
- Day range and 52W range: Two bars with the low at one end and the high at the other; the marker shows where the current level sits, over today and over the year.

Every stock in the index
A searchable, sortable table of every stock in the index. Each row links through to that company's own page, so the index page is the way into the stocks underneath it.
- Search: Filters the table as you type, so you can quickly find a constituent without paging through the table.
- Add to Watchlist: The first column adds a stock to a watchlist without leaving the page; the next carries the constituent's logo, ticker and full name, and links to that company's own page in a new tab.
- 1 Day % Change: How that stock moved on the day, green when positive and red when negative, so you can see what is pulling the level up or down.
- Market Cap (Cr.): The stock's market capitalisation, in rupee crores.
- Sector, Volume and PE Ratio: The sector the stock is classified under, the shares traded, and price relative to earnings, so you can scan the whole list for unusual activity or valuation.
- Sortable headers: Every column header sorts. Click once for ascending and again for descending, then use the pagination buttons below the table to move through the constituents.

What is on a Tradomate index page?
An index page has three parts. A header with the index's prevailing level, its support and resistance chart, high-impact news, and the day and 52-week ranges. A searchable table of every stock in the index with its day change, market cap, sector, volume and PE ratio. And a candlestick chart with pattern plotting, bar replay and a support and resistance overlay.
How do I see which stocks are in an index?
The table in the middle of the page lists every constituent we track. Search it by company name, symbol or keyword, sort it by any column, and click a row to open that company's own page in a new tab.
Are the levels on an index page live?
The level in the page header updates while the market is open and is stamped with the time it was captured in IST. The constituents table and the chart are built from end-of-day data.
What do the buttons above the chart do?
Bar Replay rewinds the chart to a bar you pick and plays it forward one candle at a time, with play, pause, step and speed controls. Plot opens a candlestick pattern picker and draws the patterns you choose onto the chart. Show Support/Resistance Levels overlays the calculated levels, and the dropdown beside it sets the candle size those levels are computed from.

Do I need an account to view an index page?
Index pages are open to read. An account is what lets you save it to a watchlist, set alerts on it, and carry your screens between sessions on tradomate.one.
