About Nifty CPSE The Nifty CPSE Index tracks the performance of select Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs) listed on the National Stock Exchange of India. It includes companies where the Government of India holds a significant ownership stake and represents sectors such as power, oil & gas, metals, mining, capital goods, and infrastructure. The index is calculated using the free-float market capitalization method and is rebalanced periodically in accordance with prevailing index methodology guidelines.
