About Hyundai Motor India Ltd Hyundai Motor India Limited (HMIL), established in 1996, is a wholly owned subsidiary of Hyundai Motor Company, South Korea. It is India's second-largest car manufacturer and leading passenger car exporter, operating a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant near Chennai. HMIL's diverse vehicle portfolio includes 13 models across sedans, hatchbacks, SUVs, and electric vehicles, catering to various customer segments.
