The company specializes in the manufacturing, sale, and trading of gold and diamond jewelry, as well as cut and polished diamonds, precious stones, and semi-precious stones. Its manufacturing facility is located in Dahisar, Bombay, with an initial capacity of 20,000 carats per annum, currently undergoing an expansion to increase capacity by an additional 5,000 carats.
The company shifted from its original focus on leasing, finance, and investment to focus on diamond manufacturing after the JRD Group's acquisition. In 1994, ZJML issued shares to fund the expansion of its production capacity from 25,000 to 45,000 carats annually, marking its commitment to growing its footprint in the diamond industry.
