Zenotech Laboratories Limited, originally established as Sunline Technologies Limited in 1989, is a pharmaceutical company specializing in generic injectable products, particularly in oncology and anesthesiology. The company underwent several mergers, including with Zenotech Technologies Limited in 2004 and M/s, Credence Pharmaceuticals Limited and M/s, Hemarus Healthcare Private Limited in 2006, expanding its product offerings in the Indian market. In 2015, Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited (SPIL) acquired a significant stake, making SPIL and Daiichi Sankyo Company Limited its promoters.
In recent years, Zenotech has focused on expanding its production capabilities, inaugurating a new Depot Injectable facility in the fiscal year 2019-20. It also renovated its Biotech API manufacturing facility, which has been leased to Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Limited for research and development since July 2021. This strategic move underscores Zenotech's commitment to innovation and collaboration within the pharmaceutical industry.
