White Organic Agro Ltd., originally incorporated as White Diamond Industries Ltd in 1994, is focused on the production and trading of organic food items. Initially engaged in diamond sawing, kerfing, and exports, the company transitioned entirely to organic agriculture in 2017. In 1995, the company raised Rs 6.20 crore through a public issue of equity shares, and it earned foreign exchange worth Rs 12.43 crore in 1995-96. White Organic Agro expanded into retail with its first flagship store in Chembur, Central Mumbai, in 2016-17. This strategic shift towards organic agriculture positions the company within a growing market for sustainable and health-oriented food products.
