About Waaree Energies Ltd Waaree Energies Limited, established in 1990, is a prominent player in India's solar energy sector. Originally incorporated as Anmol Fluid Connectors Private Limited, the company underwent several name changes, becoming Waaree Energies Limited in 2013. It stands as India's largest solar PV module manufacturer with a substantial installed capacity of 12 GW, set to increase to 13.3 GW with further expansions.
The company operates five manufacturing facilities across Gujarat and Uttar Pradesh and employs advanced technologies like Tunnel Oxide Passivated Contact (TopCon) to enhance efficiency. Waaree Energies is involved in manufacturing solar modules, implementing solar projects, and electricity sales. Significant milestones include a joint venture with NEEPCO in 2014 and full ownership of Waaneep Solar Private Limited in 2017.
