About Waa Solar Ltd Waa Solar Limited, established in 2009, transitioned from a private to a public limited company in 2018. Promoted initially by Mr. Hitesh Doshi and Mr. Viren Doshi, it was later acquired by Madhav Power Private Limited, which holds a 70.03% stake. Waa Solar specializes in solar photovoltaic grid interactive power projects in Gujarat. Key projects include a 10MW plant at Nayka and a 10.25MW plant at Tikar, commissioned by the Gujarat Energy Development Agency in 2012. Additionally, the company leases part of its land for further solar development and has expanded operations through subsidiaries, such as Madhav Solar in Karnataka and Vadodara, to enhance its solar power capacity. In 2018, Waa Solar launched an IPO, raising Rs 32.2 Crores to fuel its growth in the renewable energy sector. The company focuses on leveraging its strategic partnerships and land assets to expand its solar footprint and energy production capabilities.
