Vraj Iron & Steel Limited, originally incorporated as Phil Ispat Private Limited, is now a public limited company as of November 2023. Specializing in manufacturing Sponge Iron, M.S. Billets, and TMT bars, the company operates two manufacturing facilities in Raipur and Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, covering 52.93 acres. As of March 2023, these plants have a combined capacity of 231,600 tons per annum (TPA) and include a 5 MW captive power plant in Raipur.
Vraj Iron & Steel is undergoing expansion to increase production capacity to 500,100 TPA and enhance its captive power capacity to 20 MW, with operational commencement planned for FY 2024-25. This expansion aims to bolster the company's manufacturing capabilities and energy efficiency, positioning it for growth in the steel industry.
