About Vision Cinemas Ltd Vision Cinemas Limited, formerly Vision Technology India Limited, was established in 1992 and is one of the oldest exhibition and movie processing companies in southern India, part of a group with a 50-year presence. The company has recently restructured its board to meet regulatory requirements and improve business management, drawing on expertise from industry veterans. Its operations include film processing, audio rights acquisition, and advertisement activities. In 2013, Vision Cinemas commenced operations at a facility in Bangalore, but faced setbacks in 2016-17 due to lease termination. The company has since relocated to Mysore, inaugurating a four-screen multiplex in 2022.
Vision Cinemas is focused on expanding its multiplex operations in Gujarat, Maharashtra, and parts of Southern India. It has engaged a leading management consultancy firm to identify commercially viable locations through thorough due diligence. This strategic expansion and operational restructuring aim to bolster the company's presence in the Indian entertainment market.
