Vinit Mobile Limited was incorporated on May 26, 2011 as “Tanya Silk Mills Private Limited” under the Companies Act, 1956. The company changed its name to “Vinit Mobile Private Limited” on March 13, 2020, and later converted into a public limited company as “Vinit Mobile Limited” on May 21, 2025.
The company operates a multi-brand mobile retail chain under a COCO (Company Owned, Company Operated) model, selling smartphones and related products. Its handset portfolio includes major brands in India such as Apple, One Plus, Motorola, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo, Realme and Xiaomi. It also sells tablets, data cards and accessories including earphones, chargers, power banks, screen guards and mobile covers.
Its current business operations began in FY 2022-23 following a change in management. The company manages 32 company-owned retail stores across Surat district, with locations including Pandesara, Kadodara, Sachin, Amroli, Hazira, Sayan, Saroli and Nilgiri. Under the COCO model, it directly controls store operations such as hiring and training staff, inventory planning and replenishment, and customer service processes to maintain operating consistency across the network.
Vinit Mobile has filed a Draft Red Herring Prospectus with SEBI and plans an IPO comprising a fresh issue of 21,60,000 equity shares (face value Rs 10 each).
