Initially focused on domestic and international solar projects, Vikram Solar has steadily grown its production capacity from 12 MW in 2009 to 2,500 MW by 2021, with further plans to upgrade its Falta facility to 3 GW by 2023. Notable installations include a 3 MW grid-connected solar plant under India’s National Solar Mission (2011–12) and Eastern India’s largest single-shed rooftop solar project of 2.15 MW. The company has also executed projects for six airports, including Cochin International Airport, the world’s first fully solarized airport. Presently, Vikram Solar is planning to raise capital through a public issue, comprising Rs. 1,500 Equity Shares via Fresh Issue and 5,000,000 Equity Shares through Offer for Sale, aimed at financing expansion plans and bolstering market presence.
