The company, which became a public limited entity in 1992, produces guar water soluble polymers (GWSP), known for their water retention properties, and offers an array of products for technical applications like oil drilling, textile printing, and more. With a production capacity of 46,200 MT of guar gum powder per annum, Vikas WSP is the world's second-largest guar gum producer.
The company is expanding its capabilities with new facilities in Rajasthan and Baroda, enhancing its production of hydroxy propyl guar (HPG) and carboxy methyl hydroxy propyl guar (CMHPG), key in oil and gas exploration.
