The company operates a production facility in Chandisar, Gujarat, with capacities for guar splits, guar polymers, guar derivatives, and cattle feed. Its products serve various industries, including textiles, food processing, pharmaceuticals, oil drilling, paper, and explosives. In 1995-96, Vikas Proppant expanded its production capacity by acquiring an additional plant, and by December 1996, it commenced production of Guar Gum Powder, particularly succeeding in international markets like the USA and Europe.
In July 2008, the company underwent a name change to Vikas Proppant & Granite Limited. A significant capital restructuring occurred in December 2018 when the company issued 32.5 million equity shares to promoters and qualified investors, increasing its paid-up capital to Rs. 506.175 million.
