Veejay Lakshmi Engineering Works Limited, founded in 1974 in Coimbatore, India, is a leader in manufacturing Two for One Twisters, with over 7,000 machines sold domestically and internationally. The company also produces Precision Assembly Winders and has diversified into textile spinning. Notably, it introduced Automatic Cone Winders in 1998 and operates a textile process house in Mettupalayam. VLEWL has invested in renewable energy with four windmills in Tamil Nadu and expanded its spinning capacity significantly since acquiring a textile mill in Udumalpet.
The company holds ISO 9002 and ISO 9001 certifications for its engineering units, demonstrating a commitment to quality.
