Vama Wovenfab Limited was incorporated on March 16, 2011 as Vama Wovenfab Private Limited in Mumbai and later converted into a public limited company. The company’s name was changed to Vama Wovenfab Limited on August 21, 2025 pursuant to a fresh certificate of incorporation issued by the Central Processing Centre.
The company manufactures and sells polypropylene (PP) and high density polyethylene (HDPE) woven sack bags and fabric-based products, including HDPE trampoline material, coloured woven fabric sheets, and loop handle bags. It also trades in plastic granules.
Its manufacturing unit is located at Bhimpore, Daman and production commenced in 2013. The company produces PP/HDPE woven sack bags and fabrics, with operations described as starting with these products in 2021. Manufacturing primarily uses plastic granules that are melted and extruded into tapes, which are then woven into fabric and converted into customized woven bags. Reprocessed granules from recycled residues are also used to optimize resources, along with inputs such as BOPP films, liners, yarn, inks, and paper cores for strength, protection, printability, and finishing.
During FY 2022-23, the company facilitated exports to Dubai. It is planning an initial public offer of 16,01,000 equity shares (face value Rs 10) through a fresh issue.
