About V R Woodart Ltd V R Woodart Limited, originally named Veera Treatwood Limited, was established in 1989 and later rebranded in 1998. It is part of the Veera Group, based in Kerala, with backing from the Technology Development & Information Company of India (TDICI), a venture capital fund by ICICI and UTI. The company specializes in manufacturing and exporting high-quality treated, finger jointed, glue laminated boards. Its production facilities are located in Kakkanad, Cochin, Kerala.
To diversify its product offerings, V R Woodart expanded in 1992 to include items such as mug trees, towel holders, and kitchen boards, supported by a public issue to finance this project. In 2002, the company further enhanced its operations with the establishment of the Eloor production plant, focusing on the treatment and seasoning of rubber wood. This strategic expansion positions V R Woodart as a versatile player in the wood manufacturing industry.
