United Polyfab Gujarat Limited, initially incorporated on November 16, 2010, is a prominent player in the textile industry, specializing in the production of cotton yarn and woven fabrics. Originally engaged in trading Grey cloth fabrics, the company shifted to manufacturing in October 2013 by installing 42 Airjet automatic looms to produce Grey denim, shirting, and cotton grey fabrics. Operating through two units, the company manufactures grey cloth using yarn as raw material and runs a spinning unit to produce yarn from cotton, achieving an average production capacity of 1,500,000 meters of fabric and 100% cotton yarn monthly.
In a strategic move for backward integration, United Polyfab established a spinning unit with a 40,000 spindle capacity at Timba Village, Daskroi, in 2014-15. The company went public in May 2016, issuing 1,701,000 equity shares and raising Rs 7.65 crore. This comprehensive integration from spinning to weaving allows United Polyfab to maintain a robust presence in the textile market.
