About Unitech Ltd Unitech Ltd, established in 1972, is a prominent Indian real estate developer initially founded as a soil testing company by four civil engineers. With a diversified portfolio, its operations span real estate development, construction, consultancy, hospitality, and manufacturing of power transmission and telecom towers through its subsidiary, Unitech Power Transmission Ltd. It was the first developer in North India to receive an ISO 9001:2000 certification. Unitech engages in developing residential and commercial complexes, highways, power projects, and amusement parks, including Adventure Island and Worlds of Wonder. Over the years, Unitech expanded into the Middle East and launched several projects across India, with a significant presence in Gurgaon, Noida, Chennai, and Kolkata. In 2008, it ventured into telecom through Unitech Wireless and partnered with Telenor, which eventually held a 67.25% stake in the telecom business. The company also entered hospitality, notably constructing the Radisson Hotel in Delhi, and has been involved in large-scale real estate and entertainment projects.
