About Udaipur Cement Works Ltd Udaipur Cement Works Ltd. (UCWL), established in 1993, is a prominent manufacturer and supplier of cement and cementitious products based in Rajasthan, India. The company focuses on providing construction solutions through its Technical Service Cell, engaging with individual house builders, masons, and other business associates. UCWL strategically acquired an 8 lac-tpa cement division from Bajaj Hindustan and modernized it to increase capacity to 1 mtpa, demonstrating strong capacity utilization.
Over the years, UCWL has undertaken significant modernization and expansion efforts, including commissioning a Cement Mill and Packing Plant between 2012-14 and completing its Revival and Rehabilitation Scheme with commercial production starting in March 2017. It also launched the 'PLATINUM HEAVY DUTY CEMENT' brand and expanded its clinkerisation and cement grinding capacities. In FY 2021-22, UCWL boosted its solar power generation to 14.45 MW, reflecting its commitment to sustainable operations.
