About Triveni Glass Ltd Triveni Glass Ltd, originally established as Triveni Sheet Glass Works Ltd in 1971, pioneered the manufacturing of laminated safety glass and other glass products in India. The company, founded by the late Mr. D. N. Agrawal, initially addressed the national shortage of sheet glass by setting up a plant in Allahabad and later expanded to Meerut and Rajahmundry. Over the years, Triveni Glass diversified its product offerings to include various types of flat glass, such as float, sheet, and reflective glass, in collaboration with CMIEC, China. Despite its recognition for excellence in glass exports, financial challenges led to significant losses by 1999-2000, prompting a shift in business strategy. The company eventually exited the glass industry and transitioned into the real estate sector, focusing on constructing multistoried residential buildings on its former factory sites.
