Initially focusing on garment manufacturing, the company shifted towards technology services as it faced financial challenges, including being declared sick and referred to the Board for Industrial and Financial Reconstruction (BIFR) in 1999-2000.
The company underwent significant restructuring, including the amalgamation of Saffron Global Ltd., Webrizon (India) Ltd., and Sai Info Ltd., which became effective in 2004. In 2007, Triton Corp. expanded its global presence by acquiring 100% equity in Maple eSolutions Ltd. and Westtalk Corporate Ltd. in the UK, making them wholly-owned subsidiaries. These strategic moves aimed to diversify its operations and improve financial stability, indicating a shift from its original focus on garment production to becoming a player in the IT and consultancy sector.
