Tricom Fruit Products Ltd, established on January 20, 1995, was a prominent Indian exporter of processed fruits, specializing in puree, puree concentrate, and frozen clear juice concentrate. The company strategically positioned its processing plant near Pune, Maharashtra, leveraging proximity to fertile fruit-producing regions like Maharashtra, Gujarat, Karnataka, and Andhra Pradesh, ensuring access to premium quality fruits. Tricom's operations included fully mechanized processes from washing and chopping to packaging and freezing, with swift export capabilities due to its closeness to major ports like JNPT and Nhava Sheva in Mumbai.
Despite its advanced production technology and skilled workforce, Tricom's operations ceased in 2017-18 when Edelweiss Asset Reconstruction Company Limited took possession of its factory. Prior to this, the company was also involved in financial services such as Lease Finance, Hire Purchase, Bills Discounting, and Investment Banking.
