Tejassvi Aaharam Limited, formerly Sterling Spinners Limited, was established as a public limited company on September 20, 1994. Initially, the company focused on setting up a spinning mill in Tamil Nadu for producing 30s carded hosiery cotton yarn, with an installed capacity of 12,096 spindles. Despite initially securing a buyer for its entire yarn production, the company faced financial challenges, becoming classified as a sick industrial company under SICA in 2000-01 due to accumulated losses.
In 2015, the company rebranded to Tejassvi Aaharam Limited and diversified its operations by launching a pasta food processing unit on November 1, 2016. This strategic pivot indicates a shift from its original textile focus to the food processing industry, potentially providing new growth avenues.
