TCM Limited, established in 1943, is diversified into trading solar panels and healthcare products, solar panel installation, and manufacturing cattle feed. Initially focused on chemical manufacturing, the company ceased operations at its Mettur and Tuticorin units due to financial constraints and raw material shortages. In recent years, TCM has pivoted towards new ventures, including medical products and GPS-enabled vehicle systems under the ENSO brand, alongside solar power projects. The company, previously in financial distress, is now reviving its operations by entering the EdTech and healthcare sectors.
In 2020, TCM incorporated iSpark Learning Solutions, marking its entry into EdTech. By 2021, TCM Healthcare was established as a wholly-owned subsidiary. Expanding its business scope, TCM amended its Memorandum of Association in 2023 to include real estate development, creating TCM Properties and TCM Solar for property and solar projects. TCM is actively exploring partnerships and joint ventures to enhance its growth strategy.
