About Tarsons Products Ltd Tarsons Products Limited, established in 1983 and converted to a public company in 2021, is a key player in the Indian labware industry. The company specializes in the design, development, manufacturing, and marketing of laboratory consumables, reusables, and benchtop equipment, serving a wide range of sectors including research organizations, academic institutions, and the pharmaceutical industry. Tarsons operates five manufacturing facilities in West Bengal, offering a diverse product portfolio that enhances scientific discovery and healthcare.
In 2021, Tarsons went public, raising significant capital through an IPO and listing its shares on the BSE and NSE. The company has expanded its capabilities over the years, notably pioneering a fully robotic clean room for molecular biology consumables in 2002 and establishing facilities for automatic centrifuge tubes and PCR products. In December 2023, Tarsons further expanded its global footprint by acquiring German companies Nerbe R & D GmbH and Nerbe plus GmbH & Co. KG, through its subsidiary, Tarsons Life Science Pte Ltd.
