Known for pioneering these products in India, TNT expanded its production capacity from 25,000 TPA to 35,000 TPA in 1994 and broadened its manufacturing scope to include standard pipes in 1995. The company also ventured into energy generation through windmills for captive use. Despite facing financial difficulties and being classified as a sick company under the Sick Industrial Companies Act in 1999-2000, TNT remains a leading player in the steel tube market. Its modern manufacturing facility in Kanchipuram, Tamil Nadu, employs advanced High-Frequency Electric Resistance Welding technology, enabling it to produce high-quality mild steel tubes in large quantities.
