TAAL Enterprises Limited (TEL), established in July 2014, is a specialized provider of aircraft charter services operating under a Non-Scheduled Operators Permit (NSOP). The company, which emerged from a demerger with Taneja Aerospace and Aviation Limited (TAAL), operates a single Cessna Citation CJ2+ aircraft, catering to a loyal customer base primarily in Maharashtra. The aircraft, which accommodates up to seven passengers, is stationed at Pune airport and maintained at TAAL's MRO facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu.
Following a sanctioned Scheme of Arrangement by the Madras High Court, TAAL's Air Charter Business, along with its investments in First Airways Inc., USA, and its Engineering Design Services Business via TAAL Tech India Private Limited, were transferred to TEL. This restructuring, effective from October 2014, involved the issuance of shares to TAAL shareholders, providing TEL with additional strategic assets and a broader operational scope in aviation services.
