SVC Industries Ltd
About SVC Industries Ltd SVC Industries Ltd, originally SVC Superchem Ltd, was founded in 1989 by Mr. Suresh Chaturvedi. The company initially focused on setting up a Purified Terephthalic Acid (PTA) plant in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh, but halted operations in 2000 due to financial constraints and other challenges. The PTA project was officially abandoned in 2018, and the company pivoted towards new ventures, including a Mega Food Park project developed with partners under Nandavan Mega Food Park Private Limited on the existing land. SVC Industries has a history of trading in chemicals and steel but ceased these activities in 1994 to focus on its PTA project. It has technical collaboration with Tecmor from the US for its manufacturing projects. The company has faced financial hurdles, with funds for continuous operations delayed. A restructuring proposal is under consideration by financial institutions, aiming to recommence commercial operations. In 2020, the National Company Law Tribunal approved the amalgamation of multiple entities into Akhill Marketing Private Limited, potentially impacting its asset and liability management.
