About Surana Solar Ltd Surana Ventures Limited, established in 2006 as a flagship entity of the Surana Group, specializes in manufacturing solar energy systems, particularly solar photovoltaic (PV) modules. With manufacturing facilities located in Hyderabad, the company markets its products domestically under the 'Surana Ventures' brand, emphasizing high-quality offerings with competitive price-performance ratios. Surana Ventures became a joint venture in 2008 with Surana Telecom and Power Limited and Bhagyanagar India Limited. A significant merger in 2010 integrated the solar operations of Surana Telecom and Power Limited into Surana Ventures, leading to its public listing in 2011.
The company operates four grid-connected solar power plants, each with a capacity of 5 MW located in Gujarat and Telangana. In 2021-22, Surana Ventures completed a 4.2 MW rooftop solar installation in Telangana via EPC contracts. Looking ahead, the company plans to develop 30 MW of solar power projects across Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Tamil Nadu, indicating its ongoing expansion in the renewable energy sector.
