Super Spinning Mills Ltd (SSML), established in 1962, specializes in the manufacture and sale of cotton, cotton yarn, and related products. The company has steadily expanded its operations since commencing production in 1964 with 12,000 spindles, growing to an impressive capacity of over 177,080 spindles by 2007. SSML operates multiple units across Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu, including a 100% Export Oriented Unit in Gudalur. The company diversified into garment manufacturing in 2002 with the launch of SARA Apparels and Fashions, producing 'Polo T' Shirts, and subsequently expanded its garment manufacturing capacity.
To enhance its resource management, SSML merged with its subsidiaries M/s Standard General Finance Ltd and M/s SGF Investment Company Ltd. Additionally, the company has ventured into renewable energy by installing a 1250 KW windmill in Tamil Nadu in 2004.
