Sudal Industries Ltd, established in 1979, specializes in the production of aluminium extrusions and alloys. Initially promoted by S C Chokani with Hindustan Aluminium Corporation's technical support, the company commenced commercial production in 1981. Despite facing challenges such as under-utilization of capacity and raw material shortages in the 1980s, Sudal Industries has persevered and expanded its product range. Their aluminium products serve diverse industries, including agriculture, transportation, electronics, and defence, with notable clients like BHEL, TELCO, and Siemens. A technical collaboration with Reynolds (Europe) aims to optimize costs and enhance productivity.
In 1990-91, the company diversified into downstream products, including irrigation systems and heat exchanger tubing. Further advancements were made in 2005 with the installation of a 900-ton extrusion press. Sudal Industries continues to innovate by developing extruded sections for sophisticated applications and value-added products, strengthening its position in the market.
