Originally a 100% subsidiary of Harrisons Malayalam Ltd, the company underwent significant restructuring in 2010, leading to its transformation into an investment company. This reorganization involved a demerger of the investment undertaking from Harrisons Malayalam Ltd, resulting in the issuance of equity shares and a name change to STEL Holdings Ltd.
Today, STEL Holdings operates as a Core Investment Company, focusing on a diversified portfolio of both quoted and unquoted securities within RPG and RPSG group companies. These investments are characterized by a blend of value and growth strategies, leveraging the strong operating and financial performance of the group's businesses. STEL Holdings is publicly traded on the Bombay Stock Exchange and the National Stock Exchange since February 9, 2011.
