Steamhouse India Limited (formerly Ankleshwar Eco Energy Limited) was incorporated on June 10, 2015, in Surat, Gujarat, as a public limited company. The company changed its name to Steamhouse India Limited, with a fresh certificate of incorporation issued on September 28, 2021.
Steamhouse specializes in the generation and centralized distribution of industrial gases—primarily steam and nitrogen—supplied to customers through a pipeline network. It operates seven community steam boilers (six owned and one leased) located at Vapi Phase 1, Vapi WTE unit, Ankleshwar Phase 1, Ankleshwar Phase 2, Sarigam, Nandesari, and Panoli, with a combined installed steam capacity of 345 tonnes per hour (TPH) as of September 30, 2025. Its boilers run on a mix of fuels, including coal and non-fossil sources such as plastic waste.
The company serves industrial customers across sectors including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, agro-chemicals, textiles, tyres, dyes and pigments, polymers, paints, and others. Operationally, it set up its first facility at Vapi GIDC in 2017, expanded via an additional boiler at its Ankleshwar unit in 2022, and began steam aggregation and distribution at Dahej GIDC in 2024. It commenced nitrogen production and supply at its Ankleshwar facility on February 1, 2025, and is planning expansion into other industrial gases.
Steamhouse has filed a Draft Prospectus with SEBI and plans to raise Rs 425 crore (face value Rs 2 per share), comprising a fresh issue of Rs 345 crore and an offer for sale of Rs 80 crore.
