Sonaselection India Limited was incorporated on February 11, 2022 as an unlisted public limited company in Manesar, Haryana. The company commenced operations by acquiring an established textile processing unit through a slump sale under a business transfer agreement dated June 17, 2022, taking over the unit along with its associated assets and liabilities.
Post-acquisition, it initially operated primarily as a textile processing unit providing job-work services. Its product mix during this phase included processing of 100% cotton fabric, cotton blends, polyester-viscose (P/V), and polyester fabric. As part of its growth strategy, the company expanded its production capabilities by setting up a cotton fabric processing plant that became operational in July 2024.
Currently, Sonaselection is engaged in the manufacturing and processing of all types of textile fabrics. Its manufacturing facility is located in Bhilwara, Rajasthan—known as the “Vastranagari” or “Manchester of Rajasthan”—and has an installed processing capacity of 82.44 million meters per annum. The company has also expanded into the readymade garments (RMG) segment via a subsidiary incorporated on July 1, 2025.
The company has filed a Draft Prospectus with SEBI and plans to issue 14,300,000 equity shares (face value Rs 10 each) through an IPO.
