About Smarten Power Systems Ltd Smarten Power Systems Limited, established on July 30, 2014, and later converted into a Public Limited Company in November 2024, designs and assembles a wide range of power backup and advanced solar power products. The company’s portfolio includes Home UPS systems, solar inverters, solar power conditioning units (PCUs), and solar charge controllers. Additionally, it trades in solar panels and batteries. While its products are distributed across India through its network of distributors, Smarten also exports its offerings (excluding solar panels) to over 17 countries, including regions in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.
Since its inception, Smarten has expanded its product range and geographic footprint. Starting with Home UPS Systems in 2014, it introduced Solar Charge Controllers and Solar Inverters/PCUs in 2016, and diversified further into solar panels by 2018. The company operates across 23 Indian states and two union territories, with notable expansions into West Bengal, Maharashtra, Gujarat, Jammu & Kashmir, Telangana, and Bihar. Smarten also marked a significant milestone in 2020 by commissioning a second assembly plant in Gurgaon, Haryana, and in 2022, acquired 'Smart Store International Private Limited' to facilitate online sales.
With a robust domestic presence and international reach, Smarten is now preparing for growth through an Initial Public Offering (IPO) of up to 50,00,400 equity shares, consisting of a fresh issue of 40,00,800 equity shares and 9,99,600 equity shares via an offer for sale. The company’s steady expansion in both manufacturing capabilities and market reach positions it as a promising player in the solar and power backup industry, potentially appealing to traders interested in the renewable energy and technology sectors.
