Shervani Industrial Syndicate Limited, originally founded as Great Eastern Electroplators Limited in 1948, initially specialized in color and chromium plating. The company transitioned to manufacturing flashlight cases, miniature lamps, and dry cell batteries under the name Geep Flashlight Industries Limited. Further diversification led to the name change to Geep Industrial Syndicate Limited. In 1998, they sold their 'GEEP' brand and related assets to Gillette India, marking a strategic pivot.
Under the leadership of Chairman Saleem Iqbal Shervani, the company ventured into real estate, launching its first project, Sterling Apartments, in 2010-11. Since then, Shervani Industrial has developed several residential projects, including Shervani Legacy, a gated community in Prayagraj. This development features residential plots, commercial areas, and group housing projects like Tara Towers, Naman Homes, and Victory Tower. The company's strategic focus on real estate underscores its shift from manufacturing to development, leveraging its land assets for growth.
