About Shah Alloys Ltd Shah Alloys Limited, founded in 1990 and publicly listed in 1992, specializes in manufacturing a range of steel products, including Stainless Steel, Alloy & Special Steel, Carbon/Mild Steel, and Armour Steel, in both flat and long forms. The company's product lineup includes Hot Rolled Coils, Sheets, Plates, Cold Rolled Coils, and various bars and structural steel items. Shah Alloys expanded its operations with significant investments such as a hot plate rolling mill and a captive power plant. In 2000-01, it launched India's first 1800mm width Stainless Steel Slab Caster and continued diversification into HR/SS sheets and coils.
In 2001-02, Shah Steel & Industrial Gases Limited merged with Shah Alloys, and the company issued shares to the shareholders of the merged entity. The company further enhanced its product offerings by starting the production of value-added CRC Coils in 2005-06. Despite its achievements, Shah Alloys was declared a Sick Industrial Company in 2010-11 under the Sick Industrial Companies Act.
