Sarveshwar Foods Limited, initially established as Sarveshwar Overseas Private Limited in 2004, is a prominent manufacturer of basmati rice and other products, headquartered in Jammu, Jammu and Kashmir. The company boasts advanced infrastructure, including two Buhler German Rice milling plants, parboiling facilities, extensive grain storage silos, and modern packaging units spread over 24 acres. Sarveshwar Foods has expanded strategically through acquisitions, notably acquiring Nimbark Rice Mills' business assets in 2010 and the assets and liabilities of Sarveshwar Overseas in 2013. These acquisitions facilitated its transition into a public limited company in 2015.
In March 2018, Sarveshwar Foods raised Rs 55 Crores through a public issue of 64,67,200 equity shares, supporting its growth ambitions. The company's robust infrastructure and strategic acquisitions make it a significant player in the rice manufacturing sector, particularly in the Jammu region. The company's operations are influenced by the special autonomous status of Jammu and Kashmir, as dictated by Article 370 of the Indian Constitution.
