About Sarup Industries Ltd Sarup Industries Limited, originally known as Sarup Tanneries Limited, was incorporated in 1979 and became a public limited company in 1992. The company specializes in leather production, tanneries, and a wide range of shoe products including uppers, soles, and complete shoes. Sarup Industries has a significant export footprint, supplying shoe uppers to leading manufacturers in Germany, Italy, England, Denmark, Canada, Singapore, and Japan, and exporting shoes to Europe, Canada, Hong Kong, and Japan, contributing to 85% of its overall production. Domestically, it supplies shoes to Park Avenue.
In 1994, the company raised funds through a public issue to establish a tannery unit, enhancing its quality control and delivery capabilities. Sarup Industries expanded its manufacturing operations with a new unit in V. Shympura, Tahilwal, H.P in 2010 and commenced production at its Agra unit the same year. In 2012, it rebranded from Sarup Tanneries Limited to Sarup Industries Limited and relaunched its 'Lotus Bawa' leather shoe line in 2018.
