The company manufactures polyester chips, further processed into specialized yarn products, and offers an expansive range of polyester, cotton, and industrial-use technical textiles. Its manufacturing unit is located in Silvassa, which underscores its robust production capabilities.
The company's growth story is marked by continuous capacity expansions, introducing upgraded facilities, and diversification of its product range. Starting with a polyester yarn manufacturing capacity of 4,500 MTPA in 2006, Sanathan expanded significantly, reaching a polyester yarn capacity of 200,750 MTPA and cotton yarn capacity of 14,000 MTPA by 2020. Additionally, it ventured into industrial and technical textiles in 2018. Its broad product portfolio now exceeds 14,000 varieties of yarn and 190,000 stock-keeping units (SKUs), serving diverse applications and end-users across sectors.
Sanathan Textiles has also strengthened its market position through strategic investments and acquisitions. It established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Sanathan Polycot Private Limited, and acquired Universal Texturisers Private Limited in 2021, demonstrating a focus on value chain integration and operational scale. In December 2024, the company raised ₹500 crores through an IPO, listed on the BSE and NSE, to repay borrowings, invest in its subsidiary, and meet long-term working capital needs.
