About Salora International Ltd Salora International Ltd., a flagship of the Jiwarajka Group since 1968, is a diversified technology and consumer electronics company with a robust manufacturing and distribution portfolio. Known for producing color and B&W television sets and critical components like fly-back transformers and deflection yokes, Salora became a public entity in 1993. The company expanded its offerings to include LED and CRT TVs, home theaters, mobile devices, and IT and telecom products like laptops and smartwatches. Notably, Salora partnered with Matsushita Electric Industrial to produce Panasonic-branded electronics.
Salora has a strong export history, being the largest exporter of B&W TVs in 1993-94 and earning the Golden Export House status. It also ventured into exports of garments and leather goods. The company entered the power industry in 1996-97 and has continually innovated, launching its own mobile phone brand in 2011 and expanding its product range with advanced TVs and washing machines by 2021-22.
