Salguti Industries Ltd, initially Salguti Plastics Ltd, is a prominent Indian manufacturer of HDPE/PP woven sacks, established in 1984 and public since 1992. With a turnover of Rs. 150 Crores, the company serves industries such as fertilizers, sugar, cement, and food grains through its two plastic units near Hyderabad. After beginning as a small-scale operation in 1986, Salguti expanded its woven sack production significantly by securing loans, completing a major expansion by 1993, and further increasing capacity in 1995-96.
In 2006, Salguti diversified into textiles, setting up a weaving division near Hyderabad International Airport equipped with modern machinery, including Sulzer and Air Jet Picanol Looms. The company continues to expand its loom capacity, aiming for a total of 80 looms. Salguti Industries is recognized as a leading supplier in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, maintaining a strong foundation for growth in both plastic and textile sectors.
