Sacheta Metals Limited, established in May 1990, is a prominent Indian manufacturer and exporter of aluminum, stainless steel, and mild steel kitchenware, including utensils, non-stick cookware, pressure cookers, and foils. The company began production in 1993 at its facility in Mahiyal, Gujarat, and expanded into exports to Arabian countries in 1994-95 through its affiliate, Sacheta Exports.
Significant capacity expansions have marked Sacheta's growth trajectory. In 1995-96, the company increased its production capacity from 440 to 2400 tons per annum (tpa), supported by a public issue to fund this expansion. Further capacity enhancements took place in 2004-05 and 2007-08, with the company's production capacity reaching 7200 metric tons per annum (MTPA) post-expansion.
