About Roadstar Infra Investment Trust Roadstar Infra Investment Trust (Roadstar Trust) was established as part of the IL&FS Group’s resolution framework, approved by the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal (NCLAT) under the Union of India’s oversight. The Trust was designed to address creditor dues while safeguarding critical road infrastructure assets. By transferring ownership to institutional investors, it provides an efficient framework for asset management and value recovery, ensuring stable long-term returns for creditors and investors. The Trust manages a diversified portfolio of six operational road projects spanning 685 kilometers across six Indian states. These include four toll-based and two annuity-based projects, ensuring a balanced and regulated revenue framework. With an aggregate asset valuation of Rs 84.9 billion, Roadstar Trust focuses on vital transit routes that serve as critical infrastructure links for regional and national connectivity, driving long-term economic growth. Sponsored by Roadstar Infra Private Limited (RIPL) since 2020, the Trust leverages over 17 years of expertise in road infrastructure management through its Investment Manager, RIML. Its projects encompass 10 toll plazas and 108 toll lanes, demonstrating robust operational capabilities. In FY 2025, the Trust reported toll collections of Rs 962.8 crore and annuity inflows of Rs 152 crore, showcasing a stable revenue base. Key strategic acquisitions, such as a 100% equity stake in Barwa Adda Expressway Limited (BAEL) in 2024, further strengthen its portfolio. Roadstar Trust also distributed over 455 million units in FY 2025, with a significant portion allocated to eligible creditors of IL&FS and its Sponsor, reflecting its commitment to value recovery. Having evolved into a professionally managed entity, the Trust is well-positioned to deliver long-term growth for stakeholders while supporting India's infrastructure and transportation connectivity needs.
