RMC Switchgears Limited, originally founded as RFH Metal Castings Private Limited in 1994, is an ISO 9001:2008 certified company based in Rajasthan. Initially focusing on enclosures for energy meters and distribution boxes, RMC has expanded its product range to include a variety of power distribution and circuit protection switchgears, as well as PVC designer UV sheets and acrylic solid surfaces. The company caters to both private sector giants like Larson & Toubro Limited and state-owned power utilities across multiple Indian states.
RMC has grown from OEM supply for meter manufacturers to executing turnkey projects, such as the R-APDRP Project in Jodhpur. It operates a manufacturing plant in Chaksu, Jaipur, and launched its 'LAMINA' brand for PVC marble and wooden surfaces in 2017-18. Although it briefly owned 'Explora IOT Solutions Private Limited', the subsidiary was divested by September 2019. RMC continues to engage in energy transmission line projects and electric substation installations nationwide.
